Welding Services Design, Repair, Maintenance, and Consulting

Rates for my jobs vary due to the type of work being performed and the number of hours and materials needed. Depending on the scope of work, I can do it on an hourly or a contracted basis and will always provide an estimate before any work begins.

If my estimate is something you want to proceed with I will come to your home and the charges will be as follows:

1. Each hour is $50 per man hour for Fred and $22 per hour for a helper, if helper is required. That is a total hourly rate of $72 per hour with helper or $50 per hour if job only requires Fred, with a one hour minimum. After that we bill in 15 minute increments.

2. Outside of the Superior area , we have a trip charge of $60. This trip charge is due even if you decide not to complete the work. If you decide to do the work this fee will be reduced to $30.00

3. Appointments can be arranged Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. We schedule our repair projects to begin at 8:00 AM and conclude by 5:00 PM. Work that is scheduled outside these hours are billed at $75 per hour, except for Sunday, which is billed at $100 per hour.

When the work is completed it is a very good idea to do a detailed walk thru and to point out any thing that may have been missed. I will be happy to correct missed items and it is far less costly for you and me to have it done right the first time verses coming back to fix it later.
